Shihan Roland Winter (Prob. 5th Degree - Zen do Kai) commenced training in BJMA in 1984 and has been teaching continuously since 1993.

Ronin Dojos in Brookvale has been operating since 2010.

Roland was inducted into the Australian Martial Arts Hall of Fame as

'Martial Artist of the Year - 2015'.

Roland also has a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jui Jitsu (Team Norton),

Brown Belt in Modern Arnis (BKJ) and Blue Belt in

Japanese Swordmanship (Nakamura Ryu Batto-Do).
