Withcott Zen Do Kai has enjoyed over 17 years of training in the Withcott Area. In the early days it was a club set-up from under Toowoomba Instructor Steve Dickens.

Headed by Kyoshi Jim Friis, the rapid growth of the club has seen it branch out to many areas including Oakey, Kingsthorpe, Upper Lockyer, Roma, Sunshine Coast etc.

With the sad passing of Steve, Withcott Zen Do Kai, under the leadership of Kyoshi Jim Friis, now oversees Zen Do Kai in Queensland.

United Dojos in Withcott has a strong family emphasis with many parents and their children training in both Zen Do Kai and Muay Thai Kickboxing.

Our classes begin with a stretch and warm up as well as the odd game of basketball. We then work on various areas including, technique, partner and bag work, different self defence moves, kata, touch contact sparring and then a stretch and cool down.
