So the first question to ask will be what is the threat on your client, is it Threat of Fans, Media, Stalkers, Crowds or Hostile Groups. Once you have established the threat you can work out what type of protection and recourse’s you will require.

Each member has a certain role and responsibility when walking with the client and you will learn the drills used by the Secret Service. If there good enough for the President of the USA there good enough for us.

  • Route Planning: – Mapping out routes, areas of threat along the path of intended travel and timing the job for different types of traffic is an art in itself. Here we will show you the formats that an experienced bodyguard would use to carry out his route and travel arrangements as well as drawing up maps of the venue you will be visiting.

  • Threat Assessments: – knowing how ascertain the level of threat to your client is an extremely important task. A threat assessment must contain clear logical and concise information so as to leave no possible risk to your client. This is used to determine the level of security required for your client.

  • Media Awareness “Friend or Foe”: – The media can be the difference between a long career as a professional bodyguard and a very short one! It is important work out who is who within the world of the media so that only authorized photo’s of your client are taken.

As you can see this is a very comprehensive course, one, which covers a wide range of skills, which are extremely important for those seeking employment in the Personal Protection Industry. This Stage is run over 5 days and nights at our end office on the Central Coast of NSW.

The Stage 2 Bodyguard Course is an invitation only program and only successful Stage One graduates can be invited.

The reason for this is that on successful completion of Stage Two, you will be awarded with the “Order of the Comitatus”.

The “Order of the Comitatus” is a gold pin, which is worn on your Jacket lapel. It signifies that you are one of the elite, one of the most highly trained Bodyguards in the country.

The Comitatus were the first bodyguards in time and would work to protect their clients for accommodation, food, land or gold.

Below are two definitions of the Comitatus:

Websters Dictionary Definition States:- The retinue of prince or chieftain, acting as companions and protectors in exchange for maintenance.

Celtic Definition States:- Such men were rewarded mostly by honour of being the chiefs champion, but they would receive gifts of gold, land or cattle, depending on what the chief could afford. There was a direct connection between courage and wealth. To be brave could make a man rich. Conversely the wealthier the chief the better warriors he could attract.

Now as we climb into the 21st century the wearer of the Comitatus is still a brave warrior (male or female) protecting their Principal from harm all over the World.

As you can see we take great pride in awarding the “Order of The Comitatus” and the pre-requisite is that you have completed Stage One , you have a current security license and a category H firearms license and of course then you must be invited by the Director.

Stage Two  is only held only once a year in a given location just prior to the course and goes for five days and nights in a Live-In Camp environment.
